About 4 cm including legs – shiny black – no markings that I could see – big round body. When I first looked on Google images the only thing I could find like it was the black widow. Too busy hunting other things when we found it behind the sofa to think of taking a picture but the attached picture from elsewhere in the room of the most random looking web I’ve seen also fits the profile
